Jeff has extensive experience helping clients meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), probation services, and legal obligations related to criminal charges.

Anger Management Counselling: Specializing in anger management, Jeff has worked extensively with individuals facing issues related to uncontrolled anger, domestic violence, and relationship conflict.

Men’s Issues: Understanding the unique emotional challenges men face, Jeff offers dedicated support to help men navigate stress, societal pressures, and relationship dynamics.

My Approach to Counselling: I believe that no two clients are the same, which is why my approach is always personalized and tailored to your specific needs. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel supported in exploring their feelings, understanding their triggers, and developing healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

As a counsellor, I aim to empower clients with the tools they need to achieve greater emotional regulation, build stronger relationships, and live more fulfilling lives.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Emotionally Focused Family Therapy
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
  • Therapeutic Enactment

These therapeutic modalities are applied thoughtfully based on each client’s unique circumstances, whether you’re seeking help with anger management, anxiety, relationship issues, or trauma.

My Experience and Specializations
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients. My experience includes over a decade of specialized work in the field of domestic violence and anger management, where I have helped individuals develop healthier communication skills, emotional regulation techniques, and conflict resolution strategies. My background as a Family Preservation Counsellor has provided extensive experience supporting clients navigate their involvement with and satisfy requirements of the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and Probation. I have supported both perpetrators and victims of domestic violence/conflict through their challenges.

In addition to individual therapy, I have facilitated anger management groups for men, as well as the Connect Parent Group, which focuses on supporting parents with an attachment-based understanding of parent-child relationships.

I am passionate about helping clients create a greater sense of awareness as they work through their most challenging emotional and mental health concerns in a way that fosters growth, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
